Seniors Monday Stableford - Results 25th March

golf 2019Pat Jubb reports: 14 Seniors teed off in perfect golfing conditions with the course in great condition and playing quite short following the recent dry spell. Pat Jubb won the day with 38 points just pipping John McFarlane also on 38 but with Pat having a better inward 9. Ray Johnson and John Duncan tied in third place with 36 points. Pat Jubb’s handicap is cut by 2 to 7 and John McFarlane’s by 1 to 16. 

It is likely that next week will be the last Winter Monday Stableford and the Summer League will start once Paul opens the Summer tees.

Pat Jubb reports that eleven Seniors ventured out this Monday (18th March) in ideal golfing weather; light winds and mild temperatures. The course was surprisingly dry after the recent rain and snow and is in great condition for the time of year. A credit to Paul’s hard work. Ray Johnson was the winner with a score of 37 points with Alister Mackenzie second on 34 points.

Ray's handicap is cut by 1.

Pat Jubb reports: Ten Seniors turned out this morning, conditions were bright but cold and windy and the course was quite wet after the recent rain and snow and was therefore playing long which was clearly reflected in thewas third scoring. Michael McFarlane managed the conditions well and won with an excellent score of 40 points. Pat Jubb was second with 35 points and John McFarlane 3rd with 34.

Michael's handicap is cut cut by 3 to 21.

Pat Jubb reports: 14 Veterans ventured out this morning in glorious Spring like weather, difficult to believe that this time last year we were hit by “The Beast from the East”  Ron Robertson was victorious with an excellent score of 40 points. Pat Jubb was second with 38 points and Tam Glendinning third with 37. Ron’s handicap is cut from 17 to 14 and Pat's 10 to 9.
