Signature Hole
The feature hole at Minto Golf Club is the par 4, 267 yard 12th hole,
"Everest". From the tree lined tee to the plateau green, Everest is the
feature hole. A good straight drive is required followed by a finely
judged high ball to the small green. Don't over-shoot on this hole!
Most Scenic Hole
Many of the holes at Minto compete for this title, but the best has to
be the par 4, 11th hole, "Dunion". The views from here are truly
inspiring with the Dunion Hill on the left, sweeping Border hills
leading to Ruberslaw on the right as you head down the fairway to the
green nestled at the foot of the course. On a summers evening, this is a
view to be treasured. |
